Roads of National Significance (RoNS) is a programme of major transport projects aimed at improving key transport corridors to enhance economic growth, productivity, and road safety in New Zealand. The Tauranga Eastern Link (TEL) is a four lane motorway in the Bay of Plenty region in New Zealand, covering 23 km from Te Maunga junction in Tauranga to Paengaroa. It was officially opened on 30 July 2015. It replaced a section of , improving access to Tauranga from the east (Te Puke, Whakatāne, Ōpōtiki, Gisborne) and south (Rotorua and Taupō). State Highway 2 (New Zealand)
State Highway 2 (SH 2) runs north–south through eastern parts of the North Island of New Zealand from the outskirts of Auckland to Wellington. It runs through Tauranga, Gisborne, New Zealand, Gisborne, Napier, New Zealand, Napier, Hastings, New Zealand, Hastings and Masterton. Northport, New Zealand
Northport is a commercial sea port at Marsden Point, at the entrance to the Whangārei Harbour in Northland, New Zealand, located next to the Marsden Point Oil Refinery. Whangārei
Whangārei () is the northernmost city in New Zealand and the largest settlement of the Northland Region.
