James Inglebright (born November 18, 1961) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He is a longtime competitor in the NASCAR West Series (now the ARCA Menards Series West). Racing career Inglebright began his racing career driving motocross. However, after seven knee operations, he switched to stock car racing. Inglebright ran 99 races in the NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division, Southwest Series. After much success in the series, Inglebright won eight races and amassed 62 top ten finishes. In the 1995 NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Series, Inglebright was a runner-up. He was the 11th NFSWS driver to surpass $100,000 from his career winnings. Inglebright then moved up to the NASCAR West Series, winning one race and finishing in the top ten eleven times. Although he was once a full-season competitor, he currently races in only the Sonoma race each year in his own No. 1 car. NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Series
The NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division, Southwest Series (originally NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Tour) was a late model stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR that was held in the Southwestern United States. The original NASCAR Southwest Tour began in 1985 and ran until NASCAR discontinued the Elite Division in 2006. The cars feature a perimeter frame chassis where rails of equal lengths must kick out, compared to the more modern offset chassis where one side is straight and one side kicks out. They weigh 2,900 pounds and have a fiberglass body. California Speedway
Auto Club Speedway (known as California Speedway before and after the 2008–2023 corporate sponsorship by the Automobile Club of Southern California) was a , D-shaped oval superspeedway in unincorporated San Bernardino County, California, near Fontana. It hosted National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) racing annually from 1997 until 2023. It was also previously used for open wheel racing events. The racetrack was located east of Los Angeles and was near the former locations of Ontario Motor Speedway and Riverside International Raceway. The track was last owned and operated by NASCAR. The speedway was served by the nearby Interstates 10 and 15 as well as a Metrolink station located behind the backstretch. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is a pickup truck racing series owned and operated by the NASCAR, National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR), and is the only series in NASCAR to race production pickup truck-based stock car racing, stock cars.
