Rivière-Blanche District
Rivière-Blanche District (District 17) is a municipal Electoral district, electoral division in Gatineau, Quebec. It is represented by Jean Lessard on Gatineau City Council. The district is named after the Blanche River (Quebec), Blanche River, which flows through it. The district is centred on the historic Templeton, Quebec, Templeton Village in the east end of the city. The District also includes the neighbourhoods of Sainte-Rose, Gatineau, Sainte-Rose, La Soblimière and much of Templeton-Est, including all of rural Templeton-Est north of Quebec Route 148 and east of the Blanche River (Quebec), Blanche River. Gatineau City Council
The Gatineau City Council () is the governing body for the mayor–council government in the city of Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. It is composed of 19 city councillors and the mayor. The Mayor of Gatineau, mayor is elected At-large, at large, while each councillor represents wards throughout the city. Council members are elected to four-year terms, with the last election being on 2021 Gatineau municipal election, November 7, 2021. The council meets at the Maison du Citoyen in the Hull, Quebec, Hull sector. Much of the council's work is done in the standing committees made up of sub-groups of councillors. Action Gatineau (AG), formerly known officially as Équipe Pedneaud-Jobin - Action Gatineau () until February 26, 2021, is a municipal political party in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. It was the only active municipal political party in Gatineau from 2012 until 2025, when Équipe Mario Aubé was launched. Background The party was founded by five Gatineau City Councillors in 2012. Among them was Buckingham District councillor Maxime Pedneaud-Jobin, who was chosen as the party's interim leader. Quebec Route 148
Route 148 is an east-west highway in Quebec, Canada. It runs from junction of Autoroute 13 and Autoroute 440 in Laval in the Montreal region to the Ontario-Quebec border in L'Isle-aux-Allumettes in western Quebec. For most of its length, Route 148 follows the north shore of the Ottawa River where it acted as the principal route between communities in the Outaouais region until the completion of Autoroute 50 in 2012. At the Ontario-Quebec border in L'Isle-aux-Allumettes Route 148 continues into Ontario as Highway 148.
