Riversdale Cup
The Riversdale Cup is the second oldest amateur golf tournament in Australia. It is a Golf Australia national ranking event. The event has been played since 1896 and is organised by and played at the Riversdale Golf Club in Mount Waverley, Victoria. It was known as the Surrey Hills Gentlemen's Championship, Gold Medal from 1896 to 1907, the Riversdale Trophy from 1909 to 1926, and the Riversdale Cup since 1928. The men's event has been played as a 72-hole stroke play tournament since 1958 when Kevin Hartley won for the first time. The All Abilities Riversdale Cup commenced in 2020. Ryan Ruffels
Ryan Ruffels (born 29 April 1998) is an Australian professional golfer. Early life and amateur career Ruffels was born in Florida to tennis professionals Ray Ruffels and Anna-Maria Fernandez, but moved at a young age to southern California. His schooling was bilingual, and he is now fluent in both Spanish and English. He was an avid athlete, participating in many sports such as tennis, soccer, and golf. Shannon Jones is an American politician from the state of Ohio. A Republican, she was a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 2007 to 2009 and a member of the Ohio Senate (representing the 7th District) from 2009 to 2016. Richard Moir (golfer)
Richard Moir (born 1950) is an Australian former actor and editor. Career Moir initially began his career as a film editor for low-budget 1970s Australian films and TV series, many of which were the work of director Esben Storm. Moir struck up a friendship with Storm that was instrumental in kick-starting his acting career. He first became known for his role in the TV soap opera ''Prisoner'' (also known as ''Prisoner: Cell Block H'') as the original character of electrician Eddie Cook. Kurt Barnes
Kurt Barnes (born 25 May 1981) is an Australian professional golfer. Early life and amateur career Barnes was born in Muswellbrook, New South Wales. He had a successful amateur career which included victories in the 2002 Australian Amateur, the 2003 Riversdale Cup, which he won with a record 22 under par total, and the 2003 New Zealand Amateur Stroke Play Championship. Michael Sim
Michael Sim (born 23 October 1984) is an Australian professional golfer. Amateur career Sim was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, and moved to Australia when he was 5 years old. He was an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder in 2002. He was the top ranked amateur in the world in 2005 having won four titles during the year including the Sunnehanna Amateur and the Monroe Invitational. He turned professional at the end of the year. Tim Stewart (born 15 February 1985) is an Australian professional golfer. A former Australian Amateur champion, he turned professional in November 2008 and played primarily on the Asian Tour.
