''Ritmo, Amor e Palavras'' (literally, "Rhythm, Love and Words" or R.A.P.) is Boss AC's third album. It was released in December 2005 in Portugal. It is Boss AC's most successful album and one of the greatest successes in Portuguese music in 2005. It is one of the biggest selling Portuguese hip hop albums and was awarded gold in August 2005 for selling 10,000 copies and later platinum after selling 30,000 copies. The album was recorded at Hightower Productions in New York City. It was mastered by Jim Brick. Boss AC
Ângelo César do Rosário Firmino, better known by the stage name Boss AC (born January 20, 1975) is a Portuguese rapper originally from Cape Verde. The letters A and C, in Boss AC, come from the initials of his two names, Ângelo and César, respectively. Career His most popular songs include "Dinero", "Baza Baza", and "Doa a Quem Doer". Although he lives in Portugal, he spends a lot of his time in Africa, especially Angola. He has collaborated with many Angolan rappers, most notably Gutto, with whom he worked on "Dinero". Boss AC started his career in 1994 with ''Rapública'', a compilation album that joined together the new faces of the Portuguese hip hop movement. He was both a performer and producer on this album. Samuel Martins Torres Santiago Mira (born 17 July 1979), better known by his stage name Sam the Kid (STK), is a Portuguese rapper and producer from Chelas, in the civil parish of Marvila, Lisbon. Rima, also known as Rima the Jungle Girl, is the fictional heroine of W. H. Hudson's 1904 novel '' Green Mansions: A Romance of the Tropical Forest''. In it, Rima, a primitive girl of the shrinking rain forest of South America, meets Abel, a political fugitive. A film adaptation of ''Green Mansions'' was made in 1959 starring Audrey Hepburn. De La Soul () is an American hip hop trio formed in 1988 in the Amityville area of Long Island, New York. Madredeus () are a Portuguese musical ensemble formed in 1985, in Lisbon. Their music combines traditional Portuguese music, fado and folk music. Madredeus are one of the most successful music groups from Portugal, having sold over 3 million albums worldwide. Da Weasel
Da Weasel are a Portuguese hip hop/ rock band from Almada (a suburb of Lisbon, Portugal), fronted by MCs Pacman (now known as Carlão) and Virgul. They are one of the oldest hip-hop projects in Portugal, having been formed in 1993 and terminated in 2010, and known for being a full session band, instead of relying on a DJ and samples.
