Rites Of Ash
Rites of Ash is an American rock band from Washington, DC, formed in 2006 by Alex (80-two) and Lazzo. History Formation (2004-2006) The band started as an experiment between founder Lazzo and Adam Acampora while at college. During his last semester of college, founder Lazzo decided to add additional members and brought on front-man Alex (80-two). The two finished recording the debut record ''Beautiful Illusions'' (released in 2006). The lineup was completed in December 2005 with the addition of Fester on drums. Beautiful Illusions (2006) The band officially formed in September 2006 with the release of ''Beautiful Illusions''. This record contained 10 tracks, all with sequenced drums and bass guitar. In June 2007, Fester was replaced by Sir Deville. Hurt was an American rock band formed in Virginia in 2000. The band has released four major label albums. The band first released the independent albums ''Hurt'' in 2000 and ''The Consumation'' in 2003. The band received worldwide acclaim with their major label debut album, '' Vol. 1'', released on March 21, 2006. Their singles "Rapture" and "Falls Apart" garnered significant radio airplay. Their second album was the critically acclaimed '' Vol. II'', released on September 25, 2007, and they gained their largest radio hit yet with the single "Ten Ton Brick". The band went on to release two more albums, ''Goodbye to the Machine'' and '' The Crux''. "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" is a song performed by Journey, recorded for their album ''Frontiers'' and released as a single on January 5, 1983. It peaked at #8 for six consecutive weeks on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart, and spent four weeks at No. 1 on the Top Tracks chart. The song is also well known for its use in the film '' Tron: Legacy'' and in season 4 of ''Stranger Things''. To accompany the song on MTV, the band shot its first concept video. The Dew Tour is an extreme sports circuit organized by the Adventure Sports Group, a subsidiary of American Media, LLC. History The tour was announced in late 2004, and made its debut in Louisville, KY in June 2005. The tour then made stops in Denver, Portland, Oregon, and San Jose, California, and wrapped up its inaugural season in Orlando, Florida, in October that year. In its first year, the tour was a major success and returned to those five cities in 2006. In 2007, the tour replaced their Louisville, Denver and San Jose stops with events in Baltimore, Cleveland, and Salt Lake City. They did return to Portland and Orlando that year.
