Rita Musamali
Rita Musamali (born 21 May 1999) is a Ugandan cricketer. In July 2018, she was named in Uganda's squad for the 2018 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament. She made her Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) for Uganda women's national cricket team, Uganda against Scotland women's national cricket team, Scotland in the World Twenty20 Qualifier on 7 July 2018. In April 2019, she was named in Uganda's squad for the 2019 ICC Women's Qualifier Africa tournament in Zimbabwe. On 20 June 2019, in the 2019 Kwibuka Women's T20 Tournament, Kwibuka Women's T20 Tournament match against Mali women's national cricket team, Mali, Musamali scored 103 not out. She was the leading run-scorer in the tournament, with 189 runs in six matches. In March 2023, Musamali became one of the Uganda Cricket Association's first twelve women players to be awarded central contracts. Mbale
Mbale is a city in the Eastern Region of Uganda. It is the main municipal, administrative, and commercial center of Mbale District and the surrounding sub-region. 2019 Kwibuka Women's T20 Tournament
The 2019 Kwibuka Women's T20 Tournament was a women's T20I cricket (WT20I) tournament held in Rwanda from 18 to 23 June 2019. This was the sixth edition of the annual Kwibuka T20 Tournament, first organised in 2014 in remembrance of the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. The participants were the women's national sides of Rwanda, Uganda, Mali and Tanzania, with the latter two teams making their first appearance in the tournament while defending champions Kenya withdrew due to lack of funding. This was the first time in the tournament's history that the matches were recognised as official WT20I games as per ICC's announcement to provide full WT20I status to all the matches played between the associate teams after 1 July 2018. 2019 ICC Women's Qualifier Africa
The 2019 ICC Women's Qualifier Africa was a cricket tournament that was held in Zimbabwe in May 2019. The matches in the tournament were played as Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is), with the top team progressing to both the 2019 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier and the 2021 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournaments. Uganda won the previous Africa qualifier tournament, when it was held in Windhoek in 2017. The fixtures took place at Harare Sports Club, Old Hararians and Takashinga Cricket Club in Harare.
