Rishad Pazhaya Puthanveettil (born 6 July 1995) is an Indian professional Association football, footballer who plays as a midfielder for I-League club Gokulam Kerala FC, Gokulam Kerala. Club career Gokulam Kerala On 7 August 2020, Rishad joined I-League club Gokulam Kerala FC, Gokulam Kerala on a two-year contract. He made his debut for the club in the 2021 Durand Cup, on 12 September 2021, against Army Red (football team), Army Red, which ended in a 2–2 draw, coming on as a 39th-minute substitute. On 3 March 2022, he made his I-League debut, against NEROCA FC, NEROCA, which ended in a 0–0 stalemate. At the 2022 AFC Cup group-stage opener, Rishad and his side achieved a historic 4–2 win against Indian Super League side ATK Mohun Bagan FC, ATK Mohun Bagan, in which he scored a goal.On 20th June 2023 Rishad signed a new contract, keeping him at the club until 2023-24 Season. The I-League 2 is an Indian men's professional association football, football league. It is the 3rd tier of the Indian football league system, behind the Indian Super League and the I-League. It operates as a system of promotion and relegation with the I-League and the I-League 3. 2021–22 I-League
The 2021–22 I-League (also known as Hero I-League for sponsorship reasons) was the 15th season of I-League, last as the top tier of Indian football league system, since its establishment in 2007. All the matches were hosted in a bio-secure bubble in West Bengal due to COVID-19 pandemic in India.
