The Official Albums Chart is the United Kingdom's industry-recognised national record chart for album, albums. Entries are ranked by sales and audio streaming. It was published for the first time on 22 July 1956 and is compiled every week by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on Fridays (previously Sundays). It is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 (top 5) and found on the OCC website as a Top 100 or on ''UKChartsPlus'' as a Top 200, with positions continuing until all sales have been tracked in data only available to industry insiders. Architechs
Architechs were a UK garage duo which consisted of brothers Paul and Ashley Akabah. They were originally a trio with producer Kevin Williams (K-Warren), who left the group in 1999. Biography Architechs gained international attention in 1998 after producing a UK garage remix of Brandy and Monica's " The Boy Is Mine", selling over 40,000 copies of the bootleg. In 1999, K-Warren left the group to pursue a solo career. Ashley and Paul went on to remix for numerous artists including All Saints, Gabrielle, Faithless, Garbage, Beenie Man, Inaya Day and Jamelia. They collaborated with singer Nana (pronounced "neyney"), who features on both of their commercially successful singles "Body Groove" and "Show Me the Money". Grant Nelson (born April 1971), also known as Wishdokta, Bump & Flex and N'n'G, is an English DJ, remixer and record producer. Edwin Makromallis, also known as Ed Case, is a London-based musician, producer, songwriter, and DJ. Career Ed Case began his music career in the illegal rave scene of the late 1980s. This was followed by a stint working in hardcore and drum & bass clubs. Case however made his name in the UK garage scene of the late 1990s. He hosted a show on pirate radio, Freek FM. He is a former member of the group Architechs, known for their UK garage remix of Brandy and Monica's " The Boy Is Mine" (1998). Ceri Evans, better known as Sunship, is an English record producer, DJ, remixer and jazz pianist. Evans' musical career began in 1981 as a member of the jazz-funk band Swamp Children who released the album ''So Hot'' on Factory Records in 1982. Wookie (musician)
Jason Chue (born 31 October 1972), better known as Wookie, is a UK garage musician. He scored a UK top 10 hit in 2000 with his song "Battle". Biography Chue's career began in 1991 as a producer for UK R&B/reggae artist Wayne Marshall, producing most of Marshall's debut album ''90 Degrees and Rising'' in 1994. Shortly after, Chue became writer/producer for Soul II Soul at their studio, working with Jazzie B for several years. He would also go on to produce for Dynamite MC and Doom Man.
