Riot! Entertainment is an independent record label, music distribution service and tour promoter based in Wollongong, Australia. According to their website, Riot is Australia's biggest heavy metal music distribution company. The company serves as the Australian distributor for Nuclear Blast, Metal Blade, Relapse, Season of Mist, Victory Records, Peaceville Records, Good Fight Records and several others. Riot is also a record label with a roster that currently includes Hellyeah, Black Label Society, Ace Frehley, Stuck Mojo, Mortal Sin, The Poor, LORD, and Voyager among others. The Poor (Australian Band)
The Poor are an Australian hard rock band that formed in 1986 as The Poor Boys in Darwin, Northern Territory. Their founding mainstays are Julian "RV" Grynglas on guitar, Anthony "Skenie" Skene on vocals and rhythm guitar, and Matt Whitby on bass guitar. On 13 June 1994 they released a debut album, ''Who Cares'', on the Sony label, which peaked at No. 3 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The lead single, "More Wine Waiter Please", had appeared in the United States in March and reached No. 30 on the ''Billboard'' Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The Berzerker
The Berzerker are an Australian/British industrial death metal band from Melbourne formed in 1995. The band's music, heavily influenced by older death metal and grindcore bands such as Carcass, Obituary, and Napalm Death, can be characterised as a fusion of these with speedcore, and gabber. The band's founding member Luke Kenny described the band's style as industrial death metal. The Berzerker has produced five full-length albums, '' The Berzerker'' (2000), '' Dissimulate'' (2002), '' World of Lies'' (2005), ''Animosity'' (2007) and '' The Reawakening'' (2008). Five Star Prison Cell was an Australian four-piece band from Melbourne, Australia, whose music was generally labelled as tech metal or math rock. Fozzy is an American heavy metal band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1999 by lead guitarist Rich Ward and drummer Frank Fontsere. Our Last Enemy is an Australian industrial metal band. The band was formed in 2006 by Oliver Fogwell, Jeff Ritchie and Matt Heywood. Universum (band)
Universum are a heavy metal band from Adelaide, South Australia. The band completed formation in early 2007 and describe their sound a fusion of Scandinavian melodic death metal, new wave American metal, old school thrash metal and progressive metal. Universum have released two albums to date, the debut album '' Leto Destinatus'' on 15 June 2008 and their second album '' Mortuus Machina'' on 1 January 2011.
