John Rinka
John Rinka (born October 4, 1948) is an American former college basketball player best known for his high-scoring offensive ability and accurate jump shot while at Kenyon College from 1966 to 1970. A shooting guard, Rinka is in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) top ten in all-time scoring despite playing before the advent of the three–point line and the shot clock. He once scored 69 points in a game, which is tied for the 21st-highest single game output in NCAA history; his 41.0 points per game average in 1969–70 as well as his 3,251 career points are also the eighth-highest average and total, respectively. Kenyon College Rinka, a Milwaukee, Wisconsin native, did not get serious consideration from any Division I colleges coming out of Shorewood High School due to his size. Silvia Rinka (later Madeja, born 27 July 1962) is an East German swimmer who competed in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Competing in the breaststroke, she finished eighth in the 200 m breaststroke event at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. is a Japanese figure skater. She is the 2022 Skate Canada International champion and the 2022 CS Lombardia Trophy champion. Personal life Watanabe was born on 19 July 2002 in Chiba. Watanabe learned to speak English from her time living and training in Vancouver. Skating career Early years Watanabe began figure skating at the age of three after watching Shizuka Arakawa win gold at the 2006 Winter Olympics on TV. After winning the 2013 Japanese national novice B gold medal, she was invited to skate in the gala at the 2013 NHK Trophy. In 2017, Watanabe moved to Vancouver, Canada, after her longtime coach, Megumu Seki, moved from Chiba to coach there. Rinka Falls (; sl, slap Rinka) is a waterfall in the Logar Valley, in the Municipality of Solčava in northern Slovenia. It is the source of the Savinja River. It has been proclaimed a natural heritage feature. Rinka Falls is one of the most beautiful and best-known waterfalls in Slovenia. It is also a popular tourist destination. With its drop of , it is the highest of the 20 waterfalls in the Logar Valley. The longest step has a length of . It is visited in all seasons of the year. In the winter it is popular with ice-climbers. The best view of the waterfall is from Kamnik Saddle ().
