Rini Price
Rini Price (March 9, 1941 – October 19, 2019) was an American painter and visual artist from New Mexico. Her work is included in the Albuquerque Museum of Art and History’s permanent collection and the Capitol Art Collection at the Roundhouse in Santa Fe, in addition to many private collections. Although she is generally identified as an abstract or figurative artist, her body of work defies definition, and she never considered herself a member of any school or movement. She completed thousands of drawings and hundreds of paintings during her career. She remained reclusive in that she voluntarily removed herself from academic art and the commercial gallery system, showing only occasionally in one-woman and group exhibitions. Mary Rini (March 5, 1925 - September 4, 2019) was an American former pitcher who played in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. Listed at 5' 6", 145 lb., Rini batted and threw right handed. She was born in Detroit, Michigan. Rini was a below average pitcher during her AAGPBL career. She entered the league in 1945 with the Kenosha Comets, before joining the Muskegon Lassies in 1946. In a two-season career, Rini posted a 2–12 record and an ERA of 3.62 in 23 pitching appearances, allowing 103 hits and 48 walks, while striking out only 15 batters in 112.0 innings of work. Biography A youth product of Brescia, Martina Rini has played twice for the hometown club in Serie B despite young age. Adriane Allison Rini is an American academic and professor of philosophy at Massey University in New Zealand. Her research interests include Aristotelian logic, modal logic, and the history of logic. Academic career Rini earned a bachelor's degree at Smith College. She graduated with a PhD on modal logic from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1997, with the thesis ''Modal Propositions in Aristotle's Syllogistic'' supervised by Gareth Matthews. She moved to New Zealand in 1993 to Victoria University of Wellington, and in 1999 took a lecturing position at Massey University. Marinus "Rini" Wagtmans (born 26 December 1946 in Sint Willebrord) is a former Dutch professional road bicycle racer. He was the nephew of Wout Wagtmans, a former professional who had won the Tour de Romandie stage race in 1952. His father was a masseur while Tour de France stage winner Wim van Est was his neighbour. In 1968 Rini turned professional. The following year he finished third overall in the 1969 Vuelta a España. He rode four editions of the Tour de France and won three stages, one in 1970, one in 1971 and one in 1972. In the 1970 Tour de France he finished fifth overall.
