"Ring A Ling" is a 1996 song by Tiggy, which was a number-one hit in Denmark in 1997. The song was written by the "CMN" team, Christian Møller Nielsen, Heidi Lykke Larsen and Henrik Carlsen and produced by Hartmann & Langhoff, who had worked with Aqua and Me & My and other Scandinavian bubblegum dance groups. "Ring A Ling" went to No. 1 on the official single sales list after only eight days of release, then went platinum in less than a month and stayed at No. 1 for 8 weeks. Tiggy (born 1970 as Charlotte Vigel) is a Danish singer and radio host. Biography Charlotte Vigel was born and brought up in Bornholm where, thanks to her parents' great interest in amateur theatricals, she made her stage debut at the age of 10 years. As a result of her theatre performances, it was only natural that she developed a great interest in dancing and this led to her taking part in a number of competitions all over Denmark as well as forming her own dance group. When Tiggy turned sixteen she began to concentrate more on music. She became the lead singer in both a dance band and a rock band and performed at numerous concerts. Henrik Carlsen (born 30 November 1959) is a Danish composer, record producer, singer, and keyboardist. Background Carlsen was born in Copenhagen, Frederiksberg and grew up in Brøndby. He was a founding member of Street Beat in 1982 and led it until it was disbanded in 1993. As a composer, he has written or co-written pop-songs like " Ring A Ling" (Tiggy), " Diddley-Dee" (Cartoons), " Easy Come Easy Go" ( Los Umbrellos), and worked as producer or re-mixer with Barcode Brothers, E-Type, Blå Øjne and many more. He was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2001. He retired from the music business and worked as a school teacher until 2016.
