Ring III
Kehä III (''"ring three"'', ''National road 50''; or or ; or ) is an important Highways in Finland, highway in Southern Finland. It is the outermost of the three beltways in Helsinki capital region, and the first one to be built. It lies across the four Municipalities of Finland, Finnish municipalities of Kirkkonummi, Espoo, Vantaa and Helsinki. Shaped like an arch, the road is long, of which only a very small fraction passes within the borders of Helsinki itself. Overview Work on Kehä III started in 1962, on the base of an existing road. The construction was finished in 1972, initially with only one lane per direction. Most parts of the road have since been expanded to at least two lanes per direction, although the westernmost end is still one-lane per direction in places. Ring 3 (Oslo)
Norwegian National Road 150, also known as Ring 3 and formerly Store Ringvei is a beltway limited-access road which circumnavigates Oslo, Norway. It runs from Ryen, through the Sinsen Interchange to Lysaker in Bærum. History The Sinsen Interchange, where Ring 3 meets Norwegian National Road 4, Trondheimsveien was opened in 1962. The increase in traffic was greater than the capacity of the junction, and thus a bridge was constructed that redirected Trondheimsveien above the roundabout. Further restructuring was done in 1992, when the Sinsen Line of the Oslo Tramway was redirected outside of the interchange, and in 1994, when National Road 150 was directed below the roundabout. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration plans to connect the Løren Tunnel, a tunnel over National Road 150, with the Sinsen Interchange in summer 2013. In computer science, hierarchical protection domains, often called protection rings, are mechanisms to protect data and functionality from faults (by improving fault tolerance) and malicious behavior (by providing computer security). Computer operating systems provide different levels of access to resources. A protection ring is one of two or more hierarchical ''levels'' or ''layers'' of privilege within the architecture of a computer system. This is generally hardware-enforced by some CPU architectures that provide different CPU modes at the hardware or microcode level. Loop (novel)
is a horror novel by Japanese writer Koji Suzuki, and the third in his series of ''Ring''. The story revolves around a simulated reality, exactly the same as our own, known as the Loop: created to simulate the emergence and evolution of life. It is in this alternate universe that the events of the previous novels, ''Ring'' and ''Spiral'', took place. ''Loop'' is the only book in the series to have not been the basis of any ''Ring'' films. However, the 2000 video game '' The Ring: Terror's Realm'' borrows a few elements from it, including a simulated reality called the Loop. Plot The story revolves around a medical student named Kaoru Futami. His father, Hideyuki, contracts a deadly disease known as Metastatic Human Cancer (MHC). ''Rings'' is a 2017 American supernatural horror film directed by F. Javier Gutiérrez and written by David Loucka, Jacob Aaron Estes and Akiva Goldsman. It is the third installment in ''The Ring'' series and is based on elements of '' Spiral'' by Kōji Suzuki. It stars Matilda Lutz as a young woman who finds herself on the receiving end of a terrifying curse that threatens to take her life in seven days. Alex Roe, Johnny Galecki, Aimee Teegarden, Bonnie Morgan and Vincent D'Onofrio also star in supporting roles. Paramount Pictures had initially planned a third film, originally titled ''The Ring 3D'', in early 2014, directed by Gutiérrez and written by Loucka and Estes.
