Rina Satō
is a Japanese voice actress with hundreds of television and video game productions, many multi-year, and is active in film and as a singer as well. She won the Best Lead Actress Award at the 8th Seiyu Awards. Satō has been appearing since 2003, and as of 2016 was affiliated with a talent-management agency, the , also known as . Biography Satō was born in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. She later relocated to Yamaguchi Prefecture and Hiroshima Prefecture, and then to Ehime Prefecture. She received training at the Haikyō Voice Actors Studio, finishing in 2001 in the "19th gen" class, and joined the Haikyō cooperative in 2002. The ''Strike Witches'' mixed-media project features an extensive cast of characters created by Fumikane Shimada. The series takes place in an alternate Earth in the mid-20th century and revolves around a group of teenage moe anthropomorphic girls who use machines equipped to their legs known as Striker Units to do aerial combat. The characters are named after real-life pilots whilst their Striker Units are based on actual aircraft. Kitakyushu City
is a Cities of Japan, city located in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. As of June 1, 2019, Kitakyushu has an estimated population of 940,978, making it the second-largest city in both Fukuoka Prefecture and the island of Kyushu after the city of Fukuoka.
