Riki Takeuchi
is a Japanese actor best known for his roles in v-cinema yakuza movies. Takeuchi has starred in many yakuza films and action films, such as ''Dead or Alive'' by Takashi Miike. Takeuchi also starred in '' Battle Royale II: Requiem'', in which he played a fictionalized version of himself. Takeuchi had also a short stint at the end of the professional wrestling promotion HUSTLE in 2009, posing as a villainous character based on himself called "King RIKI". The same year, Takeuchi recorded with Avex Group a version of Morning Musume's "Love Machine" for the song's tenth anniversary, appearing under his RIKI persona along with wrestlers Riki Choshu and Yoshihiro Takayama. Saiki, Ōita
is a city located in Ōita Prefecture, Japan. The city was founded on April 29, 1941. On March 3, 2005, Saiki merged with the towns of Kamae, Kamiura, Tsurumi, Ume and Yayoi, and the villages Honjō, Naokawa and Yonōzu (all from Minamiamabe District) to create the new and expanded Saiki City. Minamiamabe District was dissolved as a result of this merger. As of March 2017, the new city has an estimated population of 73,546 (former city, 2003: 49,183) and a population density of 81 persons per km2. The total area is 903.44 km2, making it the largest city by area in Kyushu. Peanuts (1996 Film)
is a 1996 Japanese action-comedy film directed by Takashi Miike. Plot Two mysterious tough guys, Ryuji Hoshikawa and Kyotaro Ochiai, win money at the track but have some of their winnings swindled by Tetsu, a member of the Hyakkikai posing as a car dealer. Mr. Makimura, an elderly fish seller, cannot pay off his debts to the Hyakkikai so he jumps in front of a car being driven by Ryuji and Kyotaro but they stop in time and help him by robbing a Hyakkikai gambling den and giving him most of the money in order to repay his debt. Kurogane Mitsuko, head of the Kurogane gang controlling the Hyakkikai, bribes the detective Mr. Yabe to investigate the robbery then has the pinky of Mr. Gori, boss of the Hyakkikai, cut off. Saigō Takamori
was a Japanese samurai and nobleman. He was one of the most influential samurai in Japanese history and one of the three great nobles who led the Meiji Restoration. Living during the late Edo and early Meiji periods, he later led the Satsuma Rebellion against the Meiji government. Historian Ivan Morris described him as "the quintessential hero of modern Japanese history". Kikoku
is a Japanese yakuza film directed by Takashi Miike. The film reunites Miike with Riki Takeuchi, who stars as the main character. Plot Seiji (played by Takeuchi) grew up as an orphan who was raised by his boss Muto. The Muto family is composed only of the boss Muto, Seiji and Yoshi and serves as a branch of the larger Date family. When Muto is called upon to settle his dues to the gang, he instead vows to assassinate a top officer of the rival Tendo family. Seiji offers to carry out the assassination himself but Muto forbids it because Seiji already served a 15 year murder sentence for a gang related hit.
