Audris Rijo
Audris Rijo (born April 8, 1985) is a Dominican Republic, Dominican beauty pageant titleholder, professional model, actress, presenter and journalist. She represented her country at Miss Turismo Dominicana, Reinado Internacional del Café, and Nuestra Belleza Latina. In 2013, Rijo became first runner-up of Nuestra Belleza Latina 2013. In 2015 she became the host of entertainment for WNJU, Telemundo 47 New York. She also was the host of the morning show Acceso Total Nueva York. Career Rijo won the National Title of Miss Dominican Tourism 2009, and also Miss Elegance and Miss Culture. In 2010 Rijo took part in the International Queen of Coffee pageant in Manizales, Colombia, where she won the title of Queen of the Waters and Perfect Face. She also won Queen of the Americas in Guatemala City, Guatemala. José Rijo
José Antonio Rijo Abreu (born May 13, 1965) is a Dominican former pitcher in Major League Baseball (MLB) who spent the majority of his career with the Cincinnati Reds (1988–1995 and 2001–2002). Signed by the New York Yankees as an amateur free agent in 1980, Rijo made his MLB debut with them in 1984, and also played in MLB for the Oakland Athletics. He pitched and batted right-handed, stood tall, and weighed during his playing career. The most notable success of Rijo's career came as a member of the Reds, where each year as a starting pitcher from 1988 to 1993, he posted an earned run average (ERA) below 3.00. He led the Reds to the 1990 World Series title and was named World Series MVP as Cincinnati swept the defending champion Oakland A's. In 1993, he led the National League in strikeouts and Wins Above Replacement (WAR), at 10.6. He was named to the All-Star Game in 1994. Wanda Rijo
Wanda Rijo Contreras (born November 26, 1979) is a female former weightlifter from the Dominican Republic. She twice competed at the Summer Olympics: 2000 and 2004. Rijo won the only gold medal for the Dominican Republic at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. A year later she carried the flag for her native country at the opening ceremony of the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia Sydney is the capital city of the state of New South Wales and the most populous city in Australia. Washington García Rijo (1921 – 22 September 2010) was a Uruguayan political figure. Background His political base has been in Rocha Department. He formerly served as a senior police officer. He was a member of the Colorado Party. Political career He served for many years as an elected Deputy of the Republic from 1967 to 1972 and from 1985 to 1990, representing Rocha Department. Hiroshima Castle
, sometimes called , is a Japanese castle, castle in Hiroshima, Japan that was the residence of the ''daimyō'' (feudal lord) of the Hiroshima Domain. The castle was originally constructed in the 1590s, but was largely destroyed by the Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, atomic bombing on August 6, 1945. Rijo Shukyu-Dan
was a Japanese amateur football club based in Hiroshima. The club name "Rijo" came from the nickname of the Hiroshima Castle. History The club was founded by the students and alumni of the Hiroshima Daiichi Chūgaku, the former Hiroshima Kokutaiji High School, in 1923. It was one of the oldest Japanese football club team in Japan. The club won the "Ah-shiki Shūkyū Zenkoku Yūshō Taikai", the former Emperor's Cup in 1924 and 1925. And the Emperor's Cup was canceled, because of the death of the Emperor Taishō, in 1926. Then the club tried to keep the championship for three years seasons but the club lost the final match in 1927. The club had the friendly matches with Korean football clubs in Seoul in 1927.
