Barry Rigal
Barry Rigal (born 1958) is a bridge player, author, commentator and journalist. Born in England, he was married to world champion Sue Picus and lives in New York. Rigal has represented England in the Camrose Trophy Home International series five times and won the Gold Cup; he was a multiple winner of the Spring Fours and Tollemache Trophy. Rigal has been a Vugraph commentator for thirty years and chief commentator for the European Bridge League (EBL) and World Bridge Federation (WBF) since 2006. He has been an executive member of the International Bridge Press Association (IBPA) since the early 1990s and was appointed President in September 2016. Pierre Rigal
Pierre Rigal (born 1973) is a French dancer and choreographer based in Toulouse, France. Life and career Pierre Rigal originally trained to be an athlete in 400m race and 400m hurdles. He studied mathematics and economics at the University of Barcelona and graduated with a master's degree in cinema from École Supérieure d'Audiovisuel de Toulouse in 1997, but became interested in dance after meeting choreographers and directors. In 2002, he joined a dance company, working under the choreographer Gilles Jobin. In 2003 Rigal founded his own Compagnie Dernière Minute. He choreographed and produced his first pieces, ''érection'' (2003), and ''Arrêts de Jeu'' (2006) in collaboration with the director Aurélien Bory. Victor Rigal
Victor Rigal (22 September 1879 – June 1941) was a French racing driver. Biography He began his career in motorsport at the Critérium des Coeurs in 1898, on a tricycle made by De Dion-Bouton. He won the Levassor Prize for Motorcycles in 1901, and obtained the record of the kilometre in the same year at 33 seconds, at nearly 110 km/h in Achères, thanks to a twin-cylinder engine from Buchet. In 1902, he won the kilometre-long Deauville category for motorcycles at almost 125 km/h, still with the Buchet engine (32CV 4.3L), with the same vehicle still allowing him in November to reach more than 124 km/h in the Parisian region on another kilometer, accomplished in 29 seconds. He then took part in the Paris-Madrid Motor Race in 1903, on a Mors type Z. In 1906, he finished fourth in the Targa Florio in an Itala 35/40HP, becoming one of the official Werner drivers on tri-cars. Michel Rigal
Michel Rigal (Paris April 6, 1914 – August 11, 1978 in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, France) was General Commissioner of the Scouts de France from 1952 to 1970, a period of crises and reforms during which he endeavored to maintain the unity of the movement. Atanasio "Tony" Pérez Rigal (born May 14, 1942) is a Cuban-American former professional baseball player, coach and manager. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a first baseman and third baseman from through , most notably as a member of the Cincinnati Reds dynasty that won four National League pennants and two World Series championships between 1970 and 1976. He also played for the Montreal Expos, Boston Red Sox and the Philadelphia Phillies. A seven-time All-Star, Pérez averaged more than 100 runs batted in per season from 1970 to 1976 for the powerful Cincinnati team that became known as the Big Red Machine for their dominance of the National League in the mid-1970s.
