Ridzuan bin Ahmad is a Malaysian politician. He has served as State Leader of the Opposition of Negeri Sembilan from October 2023 to March 2024. He is currently serving as Member of the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Gemas since August 2023. The Malay language has a complex system of Style (manner of address), styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia and Singapore. Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, few provinces in the Philippines and several provinces in Indonesia regularly award honorary and life titles. What follows in this article is specific to the Malaysian system. References to Brunei and Indonesia are given when pertinent. 2023 Negeri Sembilan State Election
The 15th Negeri Sembilan state election was held on 12 August 2023 to elect the State Assembly members of the 15th Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly, the legislature of the Malaysian state of Negeri Sembilan. Negeri Sembilan is one of the states which did not dissolve simultaneously with Dewan Rakyat on 10 October 2022. It was decided by Pakatan Harapan on 15 October 2022. Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly
The Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly () is the state legislature of the Malaysian state of Negeri Sembilan. It consists of 36 members who represent single-member constituencies throughout the state. Elections are held no more than five years apart, and are usually conducted simultaneously with elections to the federal parliament and other state assemblies (except Sarawak). It is unicameral. The Assembly convenes at the Wisma Negeri in the state capital, Seremban.
