Rideback (song)
"RIDEBACK" is the fifth single of I've Sound singer, Mell. It was released on March 4, 2009 which serves as the opening theme for the anime series '' Rideback''. The single has a Japanese version, a remix version and the instrumental version of the title track in addition to the original English track. The single came in a regular CD-only edition (GNCV-0016) and a limited CD+DVD edition (GNCV-0015) which contained the PV for RIDEBACK. Mell (stylized as MELL) is a female Japanese singer from Sapporo, Japan, who is signed to Geneon Universal Entertainment (abbreviated as NBCUEJ) is a Japanese music, anime, and home entertainment production and distribution enterprise that is a subsidiary of NBCUniversal, owned by American telecommunications/media company Comcast headquartered in Akasaka, Tokyo .... She is a former member of the Sapporo-based I've Sound, and one of its main vocalists. Mell has contributed vocals to several anime soundtracks including '' Black Lagoon'', '' Hayate the Combat Butler'', '' Rideback'', '' Shakugan no Shana'', and '' Sky Girls''. I've Sound
I've Sound, or simply called , is a Japanese techno/trance music production group based in Sapporo, Hokkaidō, Japan. Led by Kazuya Takase, it features the talents of seasoned "sound creators" and many different vocalists, known as to their fans. They have created the theme songs for many Japanese adult games. More recently, they have been creating the theme songs to anime series. KILL is the 4th single of I've Sound singer, Mell. It is released on November 19, 2008, a year and almost two months after the release of her 3rd single. The title track will be used as the opening theme for Mamoru Oshii is a Japanese filmmaker, television director and writer. Famous for his philosophy-oriented storytelling, Oshii has directed a number of acclaimed anime films, including ''Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer'' (1984), ''Angel's Egg'' (1985), '' ...'s live-action film entitled while the B-side song On my own will be used as the ending theme for the same film. Rideback (manga)
''Rideback'' (stylized as ''RɪᴅᴇBᴀᴄᴋ'') is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by . It was serialized in Shogakukan's manga magazine '' Monthly Ikki'' from April 2003 to October 2008, with its chapters collected in ten volumes. Set in Japan in the 2020s, it follows the story of college student Rin Ogata, as she comes across a two-wheeled automobile robot known as a Rideback. It was adapted into a 12-episode anime television series by Madhouse broadcast from January to March 2009. In North America, Funimation licensed the anime series for English release.
