Riddell District Football League
The Riddell District Football Netball League (RDFNL) is an Australian rules football and netball league in Victoria, Australia. The RDFNL covers towns in the Macedon Ranges and an area from Melton in the south to Kyneton and Lancefield in the north. The league also runs junior competitions from Under 9 to Under 17 age groups. Brief history 1910s The Riddell District Football Association was formed in May 1912 from the following clubs: New Gisborne, Riddell, and Sunbury. Riddell FC won the 1912 premiership and the Raftis Trophy. 1920s In September 1925, the Riddell DFA hosted the St. Kilda Reserves side in a match at Riddell, with St. Kilda: 15.13 - 103 defeating Riddell DFA: 5.3 - 33 Romsey played off in nine grand finals in ten years in the 1920s, winning seven premierships, while Lancefield also played off in nine grand finals in ten years in the 1920s and into the early 1930s, but won only three of their nine grand finals. 1970s This decade saw Hesket club go into rece ...

The Sunbury Football Netball Club, nicknamed ''Lions'', is an Australian rules football and netball club based in the Victorian town of Sunbury. The football team currently competes in the Ballarat Football League. History Sunbury Football Club was formed in 1879 when it was known as the ''Lions'', with the Northcote Football Club playing Sunbury in 1880. The Diggers Rest Football Netball Club, nicknamed the Burras, is an Australian rules football and netball club and is located 38 km north west of Melbourne in the town of Diggers Rest and is affiliated with the Riddell District Football League. The club first played in the Riddell District Football League in 1978, and lost their first game to Broadford by 260 points. The Bendigo Football Netball League (previously known as the Bendigo and District Football Association, Bendigo Football Association and Bendigo Football League) is an Australian rules football and netball competition based in the Bendigo region of Victoria. The Outer East Football Netball League is an Australian rules football and netball league stretching from the Goulburn Valley, Dandenong Ranges, and western Gippsland within Victoria (Australia), Victoria. History The league was formed with the merger of the Yarra Valley Mountain District Football League and the South East Football Netball League in 2018. The Essendon District Football League (EDFL) is a semi-professional Australian rules football league competition based in Essendon, Victoria, consisting of teams based in the north-west suburbs of Melbourne. Founded in 1930, the men's competition consists of three leagues: Premier Division, Division 1 and Division 2, with 10 clubs in the Premier Division, 11 clubs in Division 1 and 9 clubs in Division 2. The Sunbury Kangaroos Football Club,. nicknamed the Kangaroos, is an Australian rules football club, previously known as Sunbury Rovers and situated 40km north west of Melbourne in the town of Sunbury and affiliated with the Essendon District Football League. VAFA
The Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) is the largest senior community Australian rules football competition in Victoria. Founded in 1892, it consists of six senior divisions, ranging from Premier to Division 3 in the men's competition and Premier to Division 4 in the women's competition. In addition, the VAFA has under-19s and Thirds sections, primarily made up of either clubs only able to field one team, or clubs from higher sections that can field a third team after their seniors and reserves. The Rupertswood Football Netball Club, nicknamed the Sharks, is an Australian rules football club, and situated 40 km north west of Melbourne in the town of Sunbury and affiliated with the Essendon District Football League. The senior side initially played in the Victorian Amateur Football Association before deciding to join the same competition their juniors participated in so they transferred in from the VAFA.
