Richard "Ricky" LaFleur is a fictional character in the Canadian television series ''Trailer Park Boys''. He is one of the three main protagonists on the show, along with Julian and Bubbles. Portrayed by Robb Wells, the character was created by series creator Mike Clattenburg. Ricky also appears in five films; two short, and three feature length. Before the show, he appeared in the short films ''The Cart Boy'' (1995), and ''Trailer Park Boys'' (1999). Ricky was a dog who received the Dickin Medal in 1947 from the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals for bravery in service during the Second World War. Military service During the Second World War, Ricky, a Border Collie/ Old English Sheepdog cross, was purchased by the father of Sheila Litchfield-Stander for seven shillings and six pence in Hastings while he was on Home Guard duty. The dog had previously been owned by a family who found themselves destitute. Soon afterwards, the Litchfield family moved to Sedlescombe, and again in 1941 they moved to Kent near to Biggin Hill airbase. After suffering from food shortages due to the ongoing rationing, Ricky was offered to the War Office to become a war dog. He was assigned to Maurice Yelding (of the circus family) during his military service after graduating from the War Dogs Training School at Northaw in Hertfordshire. Richard Daddy Owubokiri (born 16 July 1961), commonly known as Ricky, is a Nigerian former professional footballer who played as a striker. Football career Born in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Ricky started his career in his native country before playing four seasons in Brazil, where he played for America Football Club (RJ) and Esporte Clube Vitória, a club he would return to in 1994 in the Brazilian Série A.
