Ricky Kej
Ram Gyan "Ricky" Kej (born 5 August 1981) is an Indian music composer, environmentalist, a three-time Grammy Awards, Grammy Award winner and a four-time Grammy Awards, Grammy nominee. Kej was conferred with a Padma Shri, Padma Shri award in 2025 by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, Smt Droupadi Murmu for his contributions to the Arts. He has performed at venues including at the United Nations headquarters in New York City, New York and Geneva. In October 2023, Kej was announced as UN "Goodwill Ambassador" (UNCCD)at the United Nations General Assembly by then President, Csaba Kőrösi, Csaba Körösi . The Grammy Award for Best Immersive Audio Album (until 2018: ''Best Surround Sound Album'') was first awarded in 2005, as the first category in a new "Surround Sound" field. This field currently holds the Best Immersive Audio Album award as its sole category. It is one of a few categories which are open to both classical and non-classical recordings, new or re-issued. To qualify for this category, the recording must be in surround quality (with a minimum of four channels).
