Rickey Kelman
Rickey William Kelman (born July 6, 1949) is a former actor. He had supporting roles in two single-season sitcoms, ''The Dennis O'Keefe Show'' (1959-1960) on CBS and '' Our Man Higgins'' (1962-1963) on ABC. Major roles On ''The Dennis O'Keefe Show'', Kelman played 10-year-old Randy Towne, reared by a single father, Hal Towne (Dennis O'Keefe), who writes a newspaper column entitled "All Around Towne". Kelman appeared in all thirty-two episodes of the series. Hope Emerson was cast as Amelia "Sarge" Sargent, the stern housekeeper, hence her name. Emerson died fifteen days before the last new episode of the series was aired, but she had finished her commitment to the program prior to her death and acted in the final segment which aired on May 10, 1960. Rotten Tomatoes is an American review aggregator, review-aggregation website for film and television. The company was launched in August 1998 by three undergraduate students at the University of California, Berkeley: Senh Duong, Patrick Y. Lee, and Stephen Wang. Sally Brophy
Sally Cullen Brophy (December 14, 1928 – September 18, 2007) was a Broadway and television actress and college theatre-arts professor. Early years Brophy was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cullen Brophy. Her father was a rancher; Brophy was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and was one of seven children. She was active in dramatics at Sacred Heart Convent in Menlo Park, California, and attended College of New Rochelle. Additional experience came from her work as a summer apprentice at Westport, Connecticut's Theatre Guild. She studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, and then pursued a career on Broadway. The series aired on the NBC network from July 3, 1958, until May 25, 1959, followed by summer reruns in 1959 and again in 1965. Percy William Kilbride (July 16, 1888 – December 11, 1964) was an American character actor. He made a career of playing country "hicks," most memorably as Pa Kettle in the '' Ma and Pa Kettle'' series of feature films. Early life Kilbride was born in San Francisco, California, the son of Elizabeth (née Kelly), a native of Maryland, and Owen Kilbride, a Canadian. ''The Kettles on Old MacDonald's Farm'' is a 1957 American comedy film directed by Virgil Vogel. It is the tenth and last installment of Universal-International's ''Ma and Pa Kettle'' series starring Marjorie Main and introducing Parker Fennelly as Pa, replacing Percy Kilbride. It was also Marjorie Main's last movie of any kind. Plot Ma and Pa Kettle help lumberjack Brad Johnson turn his wealthy girlfriend Sally Flemming into a good farm wife. Worried that her father may oppose her marriage to a lumberjack, Sally hides out on the Kettle farm until Brad can convince her father that he'd be a suitable breadwinner. Ma Kettle decides Sally needs some heavy-duty lessons on how to be a good farm wife. Only Sally's sense of humor helps her survive the lessons, which include getting up at 4:30AM; being surrounded by livestock; and mastering the use of non-modern appliances.
