Rick Van Der Ven
Rick van der Ven (born 14 April 1991, in Oss) is a Dutch archery, archer who started to practise archery at the age of 8. In 2009 at the World Junior Championship in Ogden, Utah, Ogden, Utah, Rick was the runner-up with a silver medal. In 2011 at the World Junior Championship in Legnica, Poland he won silver with the Mixed team, bronze with the men's team and finished 4th in the individual event. In May 2012 in the Olympic Stadium (Amsterdam), Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam, Van der Ven became European Champion in Outdoor Archery, both individually and in the team event. Gabriela Schloesser ( Bayardo, born 18 February 1994) is a Mexican-born Dutch recurve archer from Tijuana who represented Mexico before 2016, and has represented the Netherlands since 2017. In 2021, Schloesser and Steve Wijler won the silver medal in the mixed team event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. Patrick Huston
Patrick Huston (born 5 January 1996) is a British two-time Olympian archer from Belfast, Northern Ireland. He captured three world championship titles under the youth level, and eventually competed as a member of the two person archery squad of Team GB at the 2016 Summer Olympics, in Rio, losing the first round match to the eventual champion Ku Bon-chan of South Korea. In the Tokyo 2020 Olympics his best result was a men's team 5th. Huston currently lives near Lilleshall National Sporting Centre and trained full-time under senior national coach Richard Priestman for Archery UK, while remaining a loyal founding member of East Belfast Archery Club. Papendal
Olympic Training Centre Papendal () is the national training centre of the Netherlands, located in the Veluwe woods from Arnhem. Papendal is the home base of NOC*NSF and football club SBV Vitesse. is an archery athlete from Japan, competing in both individual and team archery events. He competed in the 2004, 2008, 2012, and 2020 Summer Olympics. Kuo Cheng-wei (; born 9 November 1983) is a Taiwanese professional archery, archer representing Chinese Taipei. Im Dong-hyun (; ; born 12 May 1986) is a South Korean archer. He competes for the South Korean national team and is a former world number one. He has 20/200 vision in his left eye and 20/100 vision in his right eye, meaning he needs to be 10 times closer to see objects clearly with his left eye, compared to someone with perfect vision. Wietse Van Alten
Wietse Cornelis van Alten (born 24 September 1978) is a retired archer from the Netherlands. Van Alten was born in Zaandam, in the municipality of Zaanstad. He has competed in archery since the age of seven. Van Alten's first major international competition was the 1999 World Target Competition. He placed 8th there, earning a spot on the Olympic team. In the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, van Alten lost to Simon Fairweather of Australia in the semifinals, but rebounded with the highest score of the tournament for a 12-arrow match by scoring 114 in the bronze medal match to defeat Magnus Petersson of Sweden and win the bronze medal.
