Rick Gibson (golfer)
Rick Gibson (born October 27, 1961) is a Canadian professional golfer who plays primarily in Asia. Early life Gibson was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He played college golf at Brigham Young University, where he was an All-American in 1984. Professional career Gibson played on the Canadian Tour after turning professional in 1984. Elsewhere, he played on the Asia Golf Circuit, where he won the Order of Merit in 1991, which then qualified him for the Japan Golf Tour, where he won two tournaments. He later also played on the Asian Tour, winning once. Lecuyer (born March 10, 1958) is a Canadian retired professional ice hockey forward who played 126 games in the National Hockey League for the Chicago Black Hawks, Winnipeg Jets, and Pittsburgh Penguins. The Malaysian Open is a men's professional golf tournament currently played on the Asian Tour. Notable past winners include world number one golfers Vijay Singh and Lee Westwood (both players winning the event on two occasions). Chawalit Plaphol (born 30 August 1974) is a Thai golfer. He took up golf at the age of twelve and won team and individual gold medals for Thailand at the 1995 South East Asian Games. Joseph Robert Jacobson (born 1940), known as Robert Jacobson, is a former Lutheran bishop who became a Roman Catholic priest upon his conversion from Lutheranism. He was formerly the Bishop of the Alberta Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada. Early life and Lutheran ministry Jacobson was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States, in 1940, the son of a Lutheran minister. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Olaf College and his Bachelor of Divinity degree from the Strasbourg University, France, before graduating from Northwestern Lutheran Theological Seminary in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1965.
