Rick Crawford (cycling)
Rick Crawford is an American endurance sports coach based in Durango, Colorado. He has coached endurance athletes including Lance Armstrong, Levi Leipheimer and Willow Koerber, and managed elite/pro level cycle sport, cycling programs, including coaching the Fort Lewis College cycling team. Career Crawford started his coaching career guiding a young Lance Armstrong through his first paces as a professional triathlete. Chann McRae was the next prodigy to be influenced by Coach Crawford's counsel. After retiring from his own professional athletic career in 1992, Crawford started coaching full-time, boosting the careers of Todd Wells, Levi Leipheimer, Chris Wherry into the limelight. Shonny Vanlandingham and Jamie Whitmore earned Xterra Triathlon, XTERRA world championships under Crawford's tutelage. Lanny Barnes
Lanny Barnes (born April 26, 1982) is an American biathlete who has been competing since 2004. Her best World Cup finish was 15th in an individual event in Sweden in 2006. Barnes' best finish at the Biathlon World Championships was 39th in the pursuit event at Pyeongchang in 2009. At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Barnes finished 64th in the individual event. At the 2010 Winter Olympics, she finished 78th in the 7.5 km sprint event. Barnes was named to the 2014 Winter Olympics on January 12, 2014. Barnes became sick during the qualifying for the 2014 Olympics and initially finished one spot short of making the U.S. team. Cyclingnews.com is a website providing cycling news and race result owned by Future. History In 1995 Australian Bill Mitchell, a keen cyclist and professor of economics at the University of Newcastle, created the website titled "Bill’s Cycling Racing Results and News" after finding there was a need for fast-breaking news and race results in English-speaking countries. In 1999 Sydney-based publishing company Knapp Communications purchased the website from Mitchell, and in July 2007 they sold it to British publisher Future plc for £2.2m. In July 2014 it was bought by Immediate Media Company, along with the print-only '' Procycling'' magazine. In February 2019, Immediate Media sold its cycling titles back to Future.
