Richard Tranter
Richard Arthur Tranter (1893–1957) was an English professional footballer who played for Burnley in the Football League as an inside forward. Personal life Tranter served as a lance corporal in the King's Own (Royal Lancaster Regiment) during the First World War and received a gunshot wound to the head in February 1917. Bolton ( , locally ) is a town in Greater Manchester in England. In the foothills of the West Pennine Moors, Bolton is between Manchester, Blackburn, Wigan, Bury, Greater Manchester, Bury and Salford. The Football League First Division was the top division of the Football League in England from 1888 until the end of the 1991–92 season, when its teams broke away to form the Premier League. From 1992 to 2004, the name First Division was given to what had previously been called the Second Division. After the 2003–04 season, the division was renamed the Football League Championship (now EFL Championship, with the division below it called EFL League One). The British Army during the First World War fought the largest and most costly war in its History of the British Army, long history.
