Richard Park (born 10 March 1948), is Senior Programming Advisor at Global Media & Entertainment where he advises on all Global brands including Capital (radio network), Capital, Capital XTRA, Heart (radio network), Heart, LBC, Classic FM (UK), Classic FM, Smooth Radio (2014), Smooth and Radio X (United Kingdom), Radio X. He was previously a media consultant and broadcaster in the UK. Kirkcaldy
Kirkcaldy ( ; ; ) is a town and former royal burgh in Fife, on the east coast of Scotland. It is about north of Edinburgh and south-southwest of Dundee. The town had a recorded population of 49,460 in 2011, making it Fife's second-largest settlement and the List of towns and cities in Scotland by population, 11th most populous settlement in Scotland. Kirkcaldy has long been nicknamed the Lang Toun (; Scots language, Scots for "long town") in reference to the early town's main street, as indicated on maps from the 16th and 17th centuries. The street would finally reach a length of nearly , connecting the burgh to the neighbouring settlements of Linktown, Pathhead, Sinclairtown and Gallatown, which became part of the town in 1876. Neil Andrew Howe Fox (born 12 June 1961) is an English radio DJ and television presenter, known for many years as Dr Fox before he became "Foxy" in the 2000s, then simply as Neil Fox, M.D. before reemerging as "Dr Fox" in 2020 to host the UDJ "Heritage Chart" countdown. He was a judge on ''Pop Idol'' between 2001 and 2003 alongside Simon Cowell, Pete Waterman and Nicki Chapman. Early life Fox was born on 12 June 1961 in Harrow, Middlesex. ''Fame Academy'' was a British television talent competition to search for and educate new musical talents. The winner would receive a chance to become a successful music artist and part of the international franchise ''Star Academy'' known under various titles in various countries. In the UK version, the prize consisted of a £1m recording contract with a major record company, plus the use of a luxury apartment in London and a sports car for one year. It was broadcast by the BBC and co-produced by an Endemol company called Initial. The first series was won by David Sneddon and the second and final series was won by Alex Parks, it would be cancelled 1 year after its release, on 4 October 2003.
