Richard M. Ramin
Richard Max Ramin (November 22, 1929, Williamsport, Pennsylvania – May 27, 1995, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) was the Vice President for Public Affairs at Cornell University for twenty-four years and a member of the Cornell staff for forty-one. Early life Dick Ramin was the son of Richard and Florence Ramin. Dick started for his secondary school football team, the Williamsport High School Millionaires. In 1946, he was named lineman for the Pennsylvania All-State Team. While studying at Cornell, Ramin was a member of Sphinx Head and Delta Kappa Epsilon. After graduating from Cornell in 1951, Dick served in the U.S. Army for two years as a First Lieutenant. He was then employed as a Cruise Director, Holland-American Steamship Lines. Williamsport, Pennsylvania
Williamsport is a city in, and the county seat of, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, United States. It recorded a population of 27,754 at the 2020 Census. Dennis Webster DeConcini (; born May 8, 1937) is an American lawyer, philanthropist, politician and former Democratic U.S. Senator from Arizona. The son of former Arizona Supreme Court Judge Evo Anton DeConcini, he represented Arizona in the United States Senate from 1977 until 1995. After his re-election in 1988, no Arizona Democrats were elected to the United States Senate for 30 years until Kyrsten Sinema won his former seat in 2018. A note is a string of text placed at the bottom of a page in a book or document or at the end of a chapter, volume, or the whole text. Sage Chapel
Sage Chapel is the non-denominational chapel on the campus of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York State which serves as the burial ground for many contributors to Cornell's history, including the founders of the university: Ezra Cornell and Andrew Dickson Whiteas well as their wives. The building was gifted to the university by Henry William Sage and his wife. The chapel opened in 1875 and is located on Ho Plaza, across from Willard Straight Hall and next to John M. Olin Library, John McGraw Tower, and Barnes Hall. Design Exterior Sage Chapel, named after Henry Sage, a trustee at the school was designed in 1872 by the Reverend Charles Babcock, the first Professor of Architecture at Cornell University, with stonework provided by local stone-carver Robert Richardson.
