Richard Goodman (born July 11, 1945) is an American writer of nonfiction. He lives in Lafayette, Louisiana. He is the author of four books of nonfiction. His articles and essays have appeared in the ''Harvard Review'', ''Ascent'', ''Vanity Fair'', ''The New York Times'', ''Creative Nonfiction'', ''French Review'', and '' The Michigan Quarterly Review'', among others. Richard Goodman (born April 23, 1987) is a former American football wide receiver. He attended Florida State University, as a member of the 2010 graduating class. Shortly after the draft ended, Goodman joined the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent. Personal life Goodman was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on April 23, 1987. In 2005, he graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Goodman chose to attend to Florida State over Auburn and NC State. College career Goodman had a few starts for Florida State, but was hindered mostly by injuries throughout his college career. Professional career After going undrafted in the 2010 NFL draft, Goodman signed with the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2010; he was later cut and signed to the practice squad before the regular season. Dickie Goodman
Richard Dorian Goodman (April 19, 1934 – November 6, 1989), was an American musician and record producer. He is best known for inventing and using the technique of the " break-in", an early precursor to sampling, that used brief clips of popular records and songs to "answer" comedic questions posed by voice actors on his novelty records. He also wrote and produced some original material, most often heard on the B-sides of his break-in records. Career Goodman's first known release came in 1952, when he was just 18 years old. Under the name "Dick Good", Chess Records released his version of Johnny Standley's comic monologue " It's in the Book". In June 1956, in partnership with Bill Buchanan, he made his first hit record, " The Flying Saucer Parts 1 & 2", a take-off of Orson Welles' '' War of the Worlds''. Kevin Cooper (born Richard Goodman; January 8, 1958) is an American convicted of four murders in the Chino Hills area of California in 1983. Cooper's conviction has garnered repeated attention from both Nicholas Kristof in ''the New York Times'' and Erin Moriarty on the CBS News program "48 Hours." Richard Goodmanson
Richard Goodmanson is an American businessman born in August 1947. Education Goodmanson's degrees include an MBA, BEc and BCom, B Eng (Civil). Career Goodmanson was director of Rio Tinto from 2004 until 2018. He was elected by shareholders in 2005 and stood for re-election in 2008. Goodmanson was also the chairman of the Committee on social and environmental accountability. Goodmanson worked at senior levels for McKinsey & Company, PepsiCo and America West Airlines, where he was president and CEO. Goodmanson joined DuPont in early 1999 and became executive vice president and chief operating officer at that time. In that role he was responsible for global functions, and the non US operations of DuPont, with particular focus on growth in emerging markets. Goodmanson retired from DuPont in September 2009. Goodmanson was also chairman of the United Way of Delaware since 2006 and a director since 2002. He was a director of Qantas from 2008 until 2019.
