Rich Music is an American independent record label founded by entrepreneur Richard Méndez and his son, Joshua Méndez, in 2007, based in Miami. In February 2017, the label signed a distribution deal with Sony Music's Latin division. In April of the same year, Rich Music was nominated Latin Label of the Year at the Latin Billboard Awards. Sony Music Entertainment US Latin LLC (often referred to as Sony Music Latin) is an American record label owned by Sony Music. The label focuses on artists of Latin music. Sony Latin was also a division of the Sony Discos label. History In 1979, CBS Records (now Columbia Records) ended its partnership with Caytronics after eleven years of distribution. CBS established its own division for Latin music in 1980 called CBS Discos (also known as Discos CBS). The ''Billboard'' Latin Music Awards grew out of the ''Billboard'' Music Awards program from ''Billboard'' magazine, an industry publication charting the sales and radio airplay success of musical recordings. Justin Rafael Quiles Rivera (born March 29, 1990) is an American singer and songwriter. He specializes in reggaeton, although his repertoire also includes genres such as Latin pop and Latin trap. Carlos Isaías Morales Williams Boiro (born December 3, 1993), better known as Sech, is a Panamanian singer, songwriter and record producer. Pedro David Daleccio Torres (born October 7, 1990), known professionally as Dalex, is an American singer and songwriter. He was formerly part of the duo Jayma & Dalex. "Dimelo" is a song by British group Rak-Su, released after their victory on the fourteenth series of ''The X Factor'' as the winner's single. The group first performed the song on week two of the live shows as part of Latino Week. They performed it again in the final, this time with featured vocals from Wyclef Jean and production from Naughty Boy, with this version released as their first official single. The original solo version of the track was recorded in the studio before its first performance on ''The X Factor''.
