Rich Maloney
Richard Allen Maloney (born September 23, 1964) is an American college baseball coach, the head coach at Ball State Cardinals baseball, Ball State since the start of the 2013 NCAA Division I baseball season, 2013 season. He is the former head coach of the Michigan Wolverines baseball, Michigan Wolverines where he compiled a record of 341–244 and 3 Big Ten Regular Season Titles and 2 Big Ten Tournament Titles in 10 seasons, from 2003 to 2012. He led the Wolverines to four consecutive NCAA tournament appearances (2005–2008) and was the Big Ten Coach of the Year in 2007 and 2008. From 1996 to 2002, he was the head coach at Ball State Cardinals baseball, Ball State. He was named the MAC Baseball Coach of the year in 1998 and 2001. Ball State Cardinals Baseball
The Ball State Cardinals baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, United States. The team is a member of the Mid-American Conference West division, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I (NCAA), Division I. The 2008 NCAA Division I baseball tournament was held from May 30 through June 25, 2008 and was part of the 2008 NCAA Division I baseball season. The 64 NCAA Division I college baseball teams were selected out of an eligible 286 teams on May 26, 2008.
