Adam Rich
Adam Rich (October 12, 1968 – January 7, 2023) was an American actor. He was best known for his portrayal of Nicholas Bradford, the youngest son on the television series ''Eight Is Enough'', which ran for five seasons (1977–1981). Known for his pageboy haircut, Rich's character on the show led him to be known as "America's little brother". Personal life Rich was born on October 12, 1968, the son of Francine and Rob Rich. His family was Jewish. Growing up as a child actor, Rich lived in Granada Hills, Los Angeles, with his parents and younger brother. Sir Henry Rich, 1st Baronet
Sir Henry Rich, 1st Baronet (1803 – 5 November 1869) was a Liberal Party politician in the United Kingdom. He was Member of Parliament for Knaresborough in 1837 and for Richmond between 1846 & 1861 when he accepted the Chiltern Hundreds to make room for Sir Roundell Palmer. He was Lord of the Treasury from July 1846 to March 1852. He was the illegitimate son of Admiral Sir Thomas Rich, 5th Baronet of Sonning (1733–1803), and Elizabeth Burt. Educated at the Royal Military College, Sandhurst, and Trinity College, Cambridge (B.A. in 1825), he served in the British Army and was at the taking of Poonah and the Battle of Kirkee for which he was awarded a medal. For some time he was a Groom in Waiting to her Majesty Queen Victoria. On 7 September 1852 at the parish church of Acton, Cheshire, he married Julia, daughter of the late Rev. Martin Rich
Martin Rich (October 8, 1905October 23, 2000) was a German opera and symphonic conductor. Rich played the piano from the age of 5. He studied in Berlin under Franz Schreker. He conducted at venues in Bologna in Italy, and Grant Park, in Illinois as well as the Metropolitan Opera. In 1969, he conducted the Naumburg Orchestral Concerts, in the Naumburg Bandshell, Central Park, in the summer series. From 1970 to 1986 he headed the Philharmonic Symphony of Westchester. From the mid 1980s, he taught private voice lessons at Temple University. Rich was enemies with several notable conductors and musicians. He enjoyed a friendship with conductor Leonard Bernstein and also worked alongside conductors Herbert von Karajan, Bruno Walter and William Steinberg in music festivals around the world. Lillian Rose Rich (1 January 1900 – 5 January 1954) was an English-born actress of the silent film, silent era. She appeared in more than 60 films between 1919 and 1940. Biography Rich was born in Herne Hill, London, on 1 January 1900. In 1919, she married a young Canadian fighter pilot named Lionel Edward "Leo" Nicholson, and accompanied him back to his hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Rich's new father-in-law decided that she had a future in Hollywood, and he gave her $1000 of his own savings to fund her acting career. John Rich (1692–26 November 1761) was an important director and theatre manager in 18th-century London. He opened Lisle's Tennis Court, The New Theatre at Lincoln's Inn Fields in 1714, which he managed until he built the Royal Opera House#First theatre, Theatre Royal, Covent Garden in 1732. From 1992 to 1998, he was a member of the country band Lonestar, in which he played bass guitar and alternated with Richie McDonald as lead vocalist. Joel Rich (February 24, 1824July 10, 1906) was an American businessman, Democratic politician, and Wisconsin pioneer. He was one of the founders of Juneau, Wisconsin, and represented Dodge County in the Wisconsin State Senate for 1862 and 1863. His name is incorrectly listed as "Joe Rich" in the annals of the legislature (1880s), and that error is propagated in other places.
