Ricardo Lucarelli
Ricardo Samuel Lucarelli Santos de Souza (born 14 February 1992) is a Brazilian professional volleyball player. He is a member of the Brazil national team. The 2016 Olympic Champion, a silver medallist at the 2014 World Championship, 2019 World Cup winner, and a four–time South American Champion (2013, 2015, 2017 and 2021). At the professional club level, he plays for Gas Sales Piacenza. Career Clubs In 2010 he started playing for Minas Tênis Clube. South American Men's Volleyball Championship
The Men's South American Volleyball Championship is the official competition for senior men's national volleyball teams of South America, organized by the Confederación Sudamericana de Voleibol ( CSV). The initial gap between championships was variable, but since 1967 they have been awarded every two years. The competition has been dominated by Brazil, which won 33 of the 34 editions. The only tournament not won by Brazil was the 1964 championship, when the team did not compete due to political turmoil in the country. 2016 FIVB Volleyball World League
The 2016 FIVB Volleyball World League was the 27th edition of the annual men's international volleyball tournament which was played by a record of 36 teams from 16 June to 17 July 2016. The Group 1 final round was held in Kraków, Poland. After being runners-up on five occasions, Serbia finally claimed their first World League after prevailing over Brazil in straight sets. FIVB Volleyball World League
The FIVB Volleyball World League was an annual international men's volleyball competition. Created in 1990, it was the longest and richest of all the international events organized by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB). The women's version of the competition was called FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix. This event should not be confused with the other international volleyball competitions, the World Championship, the World Cup and the World Grand Champions Cup.
