Ricard Graells
Ricard Graells (Unknown - 11 December 1949) was the 15th president of FC Barcelona from 10 June 1919 to 27 June 1920. He took over the club after the founder Joan Gamper resigned presidency for the third time. Under his presidency the team won the double in 1920, the Campionat de Catalunya and the Copa del Rey. Biography Although little has been recorded of his playing career, he was one of the members that participated in the inaugural edition of the Pyrenees Cup, netting two very important goals, one in a 1–1 draw with Olympique de Cette in the semi-finals and the other in a 2–1 win over Real Sociedad in the final, thus contributing decisively in the club's first piece of international silverware. Before becoming president, Graells had been part of the club's board of directors in 1916 and 1917, with Gaspar Rosés as president. Along with the French franc, it was also a de facto currency, ''de facto'' currency used in Andorra (which had no national currency with legal tender). Etymology The name of the currency derives from ''peceta'', a Catalan Language, Catalan word meaning ''little piece,'' from of the Catalan word ''peça'' (lit. ''piece'', "coin"). Hans Max Gamper-Haessig (; 22 November 1877 – 30 July 1930), commonly known as Joan Gamper (), was a Swiss-born football executive and versatile athlete. He founded football clubs in Switzerland and Spain, most notably Barcelona and Zürich. He is widely regarded as one of the most important figures in the amateur beginnings of Barcelona, being the fundamental head behind the foundation of the club in 1899, and then serving as the club's first captain between 1899 and 1903, netting over 100 goals in just 48 matches for Barça and in 1902, he captained his side to a victory in the Copa Macaya, the club's first title. He then served as its president on five separate occasions between 1908 and 1925. FC Sète 34 was a French football club based in Sète and founded in 1901 as Olympique de Cette. The club won the French league title twice (in 1934 and 1939) and the French cup also twice (1930 and 1934). In 1934 they became the first club to win the French league and cup double. At the time, they were using the Georges-Bayrou Stadium. Until 1960, the club played a major role in the French football championship, but due to financial issues, it was forced to give up professional status. From the 1970s until 2005, the club played in secondary levels, before accessing Ligue 2 for one season after finishing at the 3rd rank of Championnat National. The club last played in Championnat National 2, the fourth tier of French football, at Stade Louis Michel in the town.
