Rufous Mourner
The rufous mourner (''Rhytipterna holerythra'') is a passerine bird in the family Tyrannidae, the tyrant flycatchers. It is found in Mexico, every Central American country except El Salvador, Colombia, and Ecuador. Taxonomy and systematics The rufous mourner was originally described as ''Lipaugus holerythrus'', mistakenly grouping it with the cotingas. It was later transferred to genus ''Rhytipterna'' that had been erected in 1850. Ludwig Reichenbach
Heinrich Gottlieb Ludwig Reichenbach (8 January 1793 – 17 March 1879) was a German botanist, ornithologist and illustrator. It was he who first requested Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka, Leopold Blaschka to make a set of glass marine invertebrate models for scientific education and museum showcasing, the successful commission giving rise to the creation of the Blaschkas' Glass sea creatures and, subsequently and indirectly, the more famous Glass Flowers. Tityridae is family of suboscine passerine birds found in forest and woodland in the Neotropics.
