''Rhyme Book'' is the second studio album by New Zealand rapper Scribe. It follows on from his 2003 award-winning album, '' The Crusader''. It was released on 29 September 2007. Background and release In an interview with ''The New Zealand Herald'' Scott Kara, Scribe said, "I really put a lot of thought into 'Rhyme Book''and because I'd come from Scribe the rap star, I really wanted this album to be Scribe the dude next door. The real me rather than the guy on TV." Musically, he wanted to record "a lot of different kinds of songs so in a way there's something in there for everyone. It's like a box of chocolates." My Shit (Scribe Song)
"My Shit" is a song from Scribe's second studio album, ''Rhyme Book''. It was the first single from the album in New Zealand, and the second in Australia. The song was released in both countries on 11 August 2007. The song's lyrics contain references to the end of the world. Critical reception '' The Dominion Post'' reviewer said that "My Shit" sounds "like an aural business card... nd..a very weak version of 50 Cent". Jody Macgregor of Allmusic and Rebecca Barry from ''The New Zealand Herald'' called the song "a second-rate sequel to...'Not Many'", reusing its theme. PNC (rapper)
Sam Hansen, better known by his stage name PNC, is a New Zealand hip hop artist and rapper. The name "PNC" is an acronym for Palmerston North City. He attended Awatapu College. PNC first gained underground notoriety performing alongside Breaking Wreckwordz. His unofficial single "Day in the Life" stayed at number one on the Bfm charts for three weeks. He followed that with appearances on P-Money's "321 Remix", "Get Back" and the NZ chart topping "Stop The Music" single from the ''Magic City'' album in 2004. PNC later signed to P-Money's Dirty Records and released his first album, ''Rookie Card'', in 2006. The first two singles, "Bomb!" and "Just Roll", were relatively successful songs in New Zealand. Malo Ioane Luafutu, also called Jeshua Ioane Luafutu (born on 29 May 1979), and better known by his stage name Scribe, is a New Zealand rapper of Samoan descent. He achieved two solo number ones on the singles chart from his debut album, '' The Crusader'', which was released in 2003 in New Zealand and later certified four times platinum. He also reached number one as a featured artist on P-Money's 2004 song " Stop the Music", and in 2010 on R&B singer J.Williams' single "You Got Me". Career With the initial focus on the song "Stand Up", director Chris Graham gave the video for the single the energy of a rock video.
