Rhoda Ryan
Rhoda Constance Ryan (née Hawke; 4 January 1925 – 22 April 2002) was an international lawn bowls competitor for New Zealand. Bowls career Ryan won the singles bronze medal at the 1985 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Melbourne, Australia. In 1990 she represented New Zealand at the Commonwealth Games and won a silver medal in the fours with Adrienne Lambert, Lyn McLean and Marlene Castle. She won two medals at the Asia Pacific Bowls Championships including a gold medal in the 1985 pairs at Tweed Heads, New South Wales. Matamata () is a town in Waikato, New Zealand. It is located near the base of the Kaimai Ranges, and is a thriving farming area known for Thoroughbred horse breeding and training pursuits. Adrienne Lambert
Adrienne Marie Lambert (née Parker; born ) is a former international lawn bowler from New Zealand. Bowls career Lambert won a gold and silver medals at the 1989 Asia Pacific Bowls Championships, in Suva, Fiji. She went on to win three more medals at further Championships. The following year she won a silver medal in the women's fours with Lyn McLean, Marlene Castle and Rhoda Ryan at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland. Four years later she won a bronze medal in the women's fours with Ann Muir, Colleen Ferrick and Marlene Castle at the 1994 Commonwealth Games in Victoria, British Columbia. In between the Games, Lambert won double silver in the triples and fours at the 1992 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Ayr. Tweed Heads is a town in New South Wales. It is located on the Tweed River in north-eastern New South Wales, Australia, in Tweed Shire, next to the border with Queensland and adjacent to its "twin town" of Coolangatta, which is a suburb of the Gold Coast. Marlene Castle
Marlene Robyn Castle (born 13 March 1944) is a lawn and indoor bowls international for New Zealand. Bowls career The veteran of four Commonwealth Games won her first medal at the 1990 Commonwealth Games, earning a silver in the women's fours. Again as part of the women's fours team she won a bronze medal at the 1994 Commonwealth Games. Her last Commonwealth medal was at the 2002 Commonwealth Games where she won a bronze in the women's singles. Castle has won twelve medals at the Asia Pacific Bowls Championships including five gold medals. Castle won the 2001 pairs title and the 1999 fours title at the New Zealand National Bowls Championships when bowling for the Orewa Bowls Club. Lynette Zoe McLean ( – 6 May 2017) was an international lawn bowler from New Zealand. Biography She was educated at Freyberg High School and started bowling in 1975 at Northern Bowling Club. She won two medals at the Asia Pacific Bowls Championships including a gold medal in the 1989 fours, in Suva, Fiji. She won a silver medal in the women's fours with Adrienne Lambert, Marlene Castle and Rhoda Ryan at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland.
