Rhatigan
Suzanne Rhatigan (born 1963 in Dublin) is an Irish singer, songwriter, and musician. Career Born and raised in DublinStrong, Martin C. (2003) "Suzanne Rhatigan", in ''The Great Indie Discography'', Canongate, where she learned to sing and play the guitar. Rhatigan began her career as a teenager playing with several Irish bands before moving to London in the early 1980s where she found steady work as a session singer with Stock, Aitken and Waterman Records, learned the piano, and began working on her own material. In 1990, she began dating Craig Charles and had a guest appearance alongside him in a Series Four episode of the sci-fi TV series ''Red Dwarf'' ( Season 4, Episode 1: "Camille") which was first broadcast in February 1991. Solo album Later in 1991, she signed a contract with Imago records to record a solo album. Hefner (band)
Hefner were a British indie rock band formed in east London in 1995. They were active from about 1996 until 2002; since then they have played together only once, for a tribute to the DJ John Peel, who was a strong supporter of theirs. History Hefner's roots stretch back to 1992, when Darren Hayman and Antony Harding met at art school in Kent. The band started playing live in 1995 and, after several line up changes, became a solo project of Darren Hayman. In 1996 he recorded a tape for Sticky Records (named ''The Devotion Chamber'') on which all instruments were played by Hayman himself. His friend from art school, Antony Harding, assisted, providing backing vocals. The band's first release was in April 1997 when the 7-inch single "A Better Friend" was released by Boogle Wonderland. 12 Bar Club
The 12 Bar Club was a music venue in London that opened in 1994 on Denmark Street – known as Great Britain's "Tin Pan Alley" – just off Charing Cross Road and close to Soho. Some of the most famous musicians and groups to play at the 12 Bar before they reached a wider audience include Adele, Martha Wainwright, Joanna Newsom, KT Tunstall (all of whose first London dates were at the 12 Bar), Damien Rice, Rolf Harris, Regina Spektor, The Libertines, Keane, Seasick Steve and Jamie T. Jeff Buckley also played an impromptu set at the 12 Bar some time before the launch of his debut album ''Grace''. The Denmark Street venue officially closed 16 January 2015 as part of a redevelopment for the area and poor trade in the bar due to mismanagement, despite a lengthy battle to keep it open. Robert Wolfe Quine (December 30, 1942 – May 31, 2004) was an American guitarist. A native of Akron, Ohio, Quine worked with a wide range of musicians, though he himself remained relatively unknown. Antony Harding is an English singer, songwriter and musician from New Mexico. He grew up on the Isle of Wight. He is best known as the drummer in London band Hefner, and has also played independently as ANT and now performs solo as Antony Harding.
