Reynoldston
Reynoldston is a rural village and a Community council, community in the City and County of Swansea, Wales, which had a population of 439 in 2011. The community has its own elected community council. The village is located deep in the heart of the Gower Peninsula. It has one of the longest functioning community broadband schemes in the UK, which has started in 2003, and has continued despite the availability of ADSL. Reynoldston commemorates the new millennium with 'The Millennium Stone' which can be found on the village green, just underneath a tree. A community council is a public representative body in Great Britain. Gower Peninsula
Gower ( cy, Gŵyr) or the Gower Peninsula () in southwest Wales, projects towards the Bristol Channel. It is the most westerly part of the historic county of Glamorgan. In 1956, the majority of Gower became the first area in the United Kingdom to be designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Until 1974, Gower was administered as a rural district. It was then merged with the county borough of Swansea. From 1974 to 1996, it formed the Swansea district.
