Yo Soy 132
Yo Soy 132, commonly stylized as #YoSoy132, was a protest movement composed of Mexican university students from both private and public universities, residents of Mexico, claiming supporters from about 50 cities around the world. It began as opposition to the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) candidate Enrique Peña Nieto and the Mexican media's allegedly biased coverage of the 2012 general election. The name Yo Soy 132, Spanish for "I Am 132", originated in an expression of solidarity with the original 131 protest's initiators. The phrase drew inspiration from the Occupy movement and the Spanish 15-M movement. The protest movement was known worldwide as the "Mexican spring" (an allusion to the Arab Spring) after claims made by its first spokespersons, and called the "Mexican occupy movement" in the international press. Yo Soy (Yolandita Monge Album)
''Yo Soy'' is the fifth (5th) studio album by Puerto Rico, Puerto Rican singer Yolandita Monge. Monge returned from Mexico to record this album in Puerto Rico under the label AudioVox Records. With this release the singer started exploring adult themed songs. It was released in 1973 and contains the radio hits ''Amor Mío'' and ''Estoy Celosa''. The album was first re-issued in 1987 and then in 90’s by the label Disco Hit in cassette format. It is currently out of print in all media layouts. Domingo Johnny Vega Urzúa (born December 24, 1977), commonly known as Américo, is a Chilean singer. He became known as the lead artist of Américo y la Nueva Alegría. He is the son of a locally known boleros singer, Melvin "Corazón" Américo. Americo was a coach on the second season of La Voz Ecuador in 2016. "Yo Soy" is a song by Mexican singer Paulina Rubio, released by Sony Music Mexico on October 14, 2021. It marks her first song recorded and released by the Sony Music label, after two decades on Universal Music. Rubio wrote the song with Felipe González, Valentina Rico, Omar Koonze, Andy Clay and Andres Castro, who also produced. "Yo Soy" is a Latin pop, ranchera-mariachi-inspired and trap song which features acoustic guitar harks back to Rubio’s Mexican roots. ''Yo Soy'' is a singing and impersonation competition show. It is the Peruvian version of the European show ''I am...'', which has its own versions in other countries. It was presented by Adolfo Aguilar and Karen Schwarz up to starts of 2015. In the middle of 2015, it is presented with Cristian Rivero and Jesus Alzamora.
