''Revisions 2020'' is the fifth EP by Australian singer-songwriter Josh Pyke. It was released on 6 November 2020. The EP featured reimagined versions of songs from throughout Pyke's career. The EP including a previously unreleased piano version of his debut solo single "Middle of the Hill", which Pyke has dedicated to his mother, who is battling Alzheimer's Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disease that usually starts slowly and progressively worsens. Josh Pyke
Joshua Jon Pyke (born 18 December 1977) is an Australian singer-songwriter, producer, musician and children's book author. Biography Josh Pyke is a prolific songwriter, with a successful and critically acclaimed career both domestically and overseas. Josh’s 6 studio albums to date have all debuted in the ARIA Top 10. Amongst numerous other honours, he has received 4 ARIA Awards, 10 ARIA nominations, and gold/ platinum accreditations. ''To Find Happiness'' is the seventh studio album by Australian musician, Josh Pyke. The album was announced on 5 November 2021 alongside its fourth single "Circle of Light" and released on 18 March 2022. The album debuted at number 17 and is Pyke's eighth Top 50 album. Upon announcement, Pyke said "This album was a bit of a surprise, I wasn't planning to make another record straight after '' Rome'', but the juices were flowing, and I didn't want the 'COVID Years' to be defined by inactivity and stalled plans." The song has become a "fan-favourite" and was polled at number 19 in the Triple J Hottest 100, 2005. Pyke said "The writing of 'Middle of the Hill' was one of those times that I've read about; it's called 'the flow', you know, where you're in this state of creativity where you're not really aware of what you're doing, very stream-of-consciousness. That song, I literally wrote it in about as long as it takes to sing it. I had the riff and I was playing it, and I just kind of opened my mouth and all this stuff poured out. The Jezabels are an Australian indie rock band formed in Sydney in 2007.
