The Revengers is the name of different fictional teams appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Publication history The Revengers is a team of supervillains who were formed to fight A-Next in the MC2 series ''A-Next''. They were created by Tom DeFalco and Ron Frenz. The Revengers is also the name of the Avengers in Earth-665, the setting of Marvel's parody comic '' Not Brand Echh''. Captain Ultra
Captain Ultra (Griffin Gogol) is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Roy Thomas, George Pérez, and Joe Sinnott, the character first appeared in ''Fantastic Four'' #177 (December 1976). Captain Ultra has been a member of the Revengers at various points in his history. Last Planet Standing
''Last Planet Standing'' is a 5-issue comic book limited series, published by Marvel Comics in 2006. The series was written by Tom DeFalco and drawn by Pat Olliffe (who also co-plotted the series). It stars many characters from the MC2 Universe and is a sequel to the 2005 miniseries '' Last Hero Standing''. Plot summary The limited series begins with Reed and Sue Richards investigating a strange phenomena in another galaxy. Reed realizes that Earth may be in danger within a week. However, before he can send a message to warn Earth, an alien vessel causes a sun in the middle of the galaxy to overload and implode, creating a massive shockwave that destroys his ship. The occupant of the alien vessel is revealed to be Dominas the Wavemaster, a Herald of Galactus. Devil-Slayer
Devil-Slayer (Eric Simon Payne) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character exists in Marvel's main shared universe, known as the Marvel Universe. Publication history Devil-Slayer was created by David Anthony Kraft and Rich Buckler. According to Kraft, Devil-Slayer was a tweaked version of a character he and Buckler had created in '' Demon Hunter'' (1975) for Atlas/Seaboard Comics. On his first day back in the Marvel Comics offices after the collapse of Atlas/Seaboard, Kraft bumped into Buckler in the hall and the two discussed bringing back Demon Hunter. Eddie Brock
Edward Charles Allan "Eddie" Brock is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. A-Next is a team of superheroes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. It is the Marvel Comics 2 universe version of the Avengers. The team made its first appearance in '' What If?'' #105, the first comic featuring Spider-Girl, and the team's origin story was told in ''A-Next'' #1 (Oct. 1998). Publication history The first issue of ''A-Next'' paid homage to ''The Avengers'' #1, with an Asgardian menace prompting new superheroes to band together, all of them analogues to the original team.
