Reuven Oved
Reuven Oved (; born 28 November 1983) is an Israeli former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He started his career at Maccabi Tel Aviv but after a few problems with the club he moved to Hapoel Haifa. After one unsuccessful season with Haifa, he moved to Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv, where he spent two of his most successful seasons in his whole career. In the summer of 2007 he moved to Hapoel Tel Aviv. At the end of 2011 he moved to Grazer AK, but after one season was released from the club in September 2012. Giv'at Shmuel () is a city in the Central District (Israel), Center District of Israel. The 2013–14 Liga Alef season saw Hapoel Kfar Saba (champions of the North Division) and Maccabi Kiryat Gat (champions of the South Division) win the title and promotion to Liga Leumit. The clubs which were ranked between 2nd to 5th places in each division competed in a promotion play-offs, in which the winner, Ironi Tiberias advanced to the final round, where they beat the 14th placed club in Liga Leumit, Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem 5-1 on aggregate. thus, Ironi Tiberias were also promoted to Liga Leumit. Liga Alef () is the third tier of the Israeli football league system. It is divided into two regional divisions, north and south. History League football began in Israel in 1949–50, a year after the Israeli Declaration of Independence. However, the financial and security crises gripping the young nation caused the 1950–51 season to be abandoned before it had started. When football resumed in 1951–52, the new top division went by the name of Liga Alef. The 1952–53 season was also not played and Liga Alef resumed in 1953–54. In the 1955–56 season, Liga Leumit came into existence as the new top division, with Liga Alef becoming the second division. In the summer of 1976, restructuring saw the creation of Liga Artzit as a new second tier, and the second demotion of Liga Alef, as it became the third division.
