Reto Baumgartner
Reto Baumgartner (born 28 April 1967) is a retired Swiss professional footballer who played in the late 1980s and early 1990s as defender. Since FC Basel's AGM in 2008, Baumgartner is a member of the club board of directors and since 16 November 2020, he is president of the club. He is businessman and member of the Basel-Stadt trade association. Football career Baumgartner played his youth football with Wettingen. He advanced to their first team for the first time during the 1984–85 Nationalliga A season, but usually played for their youth team. In 1987 he signed his first professional contract with the club and played solely for their first team. At the end of the 1986–87 season, Baumgartner and the team suffered relegation to the Nationalliga B. But he remained with the team and in the following season they achieved immediate promotion. In the sport of association football, a defender is an outfield position whose primary role is to stop attacks during the game and prevent the opposition from scoring. Dario Zuffi
Dario Zuffi (born 7 December 1964) is a Swiss football coach and former international player. He is currently employed as assistant coach for FC Winterthur. Career Playing career Zuffi played his youth football with the local Winterthur team FC Töss. In 1983 he moved across town to join FC Winterthur's first team and signed his first professional contract for the 1983–84 Nationalliga A season. He prolonged the contract and he played with Winterthur for two seasons before he moved on. In the off-season before the 1985–86 Nationalliga A season Zuffi transferred to BSC Young Boys. From an early point in his career with YB, Zuffi showed tremendous skill and helped the team to win the Swiss Football Championship that season, personally scoring 15 goals. Ørjan Berg
Ørjan Berg (born 20 August 1968) is a Norwegian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He is the current sporting director of Bodø/Glimt. Berg retired at the end of the 2006 season, having played for Bodø/Glimt, Wettingen, TSV 1860 Munich, Basel and Rosenborg. He is the brother of Bodø/Glimt player Runar Berg and the son of midfielder and playmaker Harald Berg. Club career Berg first played – as his father had – at Bodø/Glimt, then playing in the 2nd division, later moving up to the 1st.
