''Restaurant Makeover'' is a television series on HGTV (Canadian TV channel), HGTV Canada that currently airs as reruns on the Flavour Network, Food Network Canada and ''HGTV Canada'', as well as the Fine Living Network, Fine Living channel and Food Network in the United States, DTour and in over 16 other countries worldwide. The pilot episode starred designer Robin De Groot and chef Brad Long (chef), Brad Long in the Coco's Cafe. Most of the restaurants involved in the series were located in the Greater Toronto Area. Brad Long (chef)
Brad Long is a Canadian chef. He is known for his appearances on the Food Network (Canadian TV channel), Food Network show ''Restaurant Makeover'', which is seen in over 16 countries worldwide. For ten years Long worked at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment where he was responsible for feeding more than 20 million fans at Toronto's Air Canada Centre and BMO Field. His responsibilities included creating team meals for the organization's NBA and NHL teams; and overseeing quick service, catering and restaurants including The Platinum Club. Flavour Network (formerly known as Food Network) is a Canadian English language discretionary specialty channel owned by Corus Entertainment. It broadcasts programming related to food, cooking, cuisine, and the food industry, including competition, reality, and travelogue-style programs. Robin Fraser
Robin Fraser (born December 17, 1966) is an American soccer coach and former player. He is the head coach of Major League Soccer club Toronto FC. He previously served as head coach of Colorado Rapids and Chivas USA and as an assistant for Real Salt Lake, Toronto, and the New York Red Bulls. A former defender, Fraser played six seasons in the American Professional Soccer League and ten in Major League Soccer. He earned 27 caps with the United States national team between 1988 and 2001. DTour (styled as DTOUR) is a Canadian English language discretionary specialty channel owned by Corus Entertainment. The channel was originally established by Canwest in 1997 as Prime, a cable companion to Global with a general entertainment format focusing on classic series and programming acquired from Global and CH. In 2006, the channel was re-branded as TVTropolis, carrying a similar format but with a focus on contemporary sitcoms and dramas from the 1980s and 1990s, as well as pop culture-themed programs.
