In a computer or data transmission system, a reset clears any pending errors or events and brings a system to normal condition or an initial state, usually in a controlled manner. It is usually done in response to an error condition when it is impossible or undesirable for a processing activity to proceed and all error recovery mechanisms fail. The Russian reset was an attempt by the Obama administration to improve relations between the United States and Russia in 2009–2013. ''Reset'' () is a Chinese time-travel whodunit series, starring Bai Jingting and Zhao Jinmai in the lead roles. It is based on a novel by Qidaojun, and is directed by Sun Molong and Liu Hongyuan. Reset is a Canadian punk rock band formed in 1993 in Montreal, Quebec. History Reset was formed in 1993 by Pierre Bouvier and Chuck Comeau when they were 13 years old. The original band members were Pierre Bouvier (vocals), Philippe Jolicoeur (guitar and vocals), Chuck Comeau (drums) and Jean-Sébastien Boileau (bass).
