DWFO
DWFO (87.5 FM), broadcasting as 87.5 Republika ni Juan, is a radio station owned and operated by the Presidential Broadcast Service, the broadcast arm of the Presidential Communications Group. Its studios and transmitter are located at the 4th Floor, Philippine Information Agency Building, Visayas Ave., Quezon City. The station operates on terrestrial radio daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. History Prior history Prior to the PBS's acquisition, the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) asked the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) to reserve the said frequency for local campuses (including Angelicum College, where they own the said frequency under the call letters DWAC-FM) due to multiple reports that some others will use the latter frequency for commercial purposes. Republika Davao
Republika ni Juan Davao (87.9 FM) is a radio station owned and operated by the Presidential Broadcast Service which serves as a relay of DWFO-FM in Metro Manila. Its studios are located at the Mindanao Media Hub Bldg., Carlos P. Garcia Highway, Bangkal, Davao City, and its transmitter is located at Shrine Hills, Matina, Davao City. History 87.5 MHz was used as a temporary frequency of Radyo Pilipinas Davao from February to August 2018, while conducting maintenance and transferring studios to the Mindanao Media Hub, to be located in Davao City. FM1 Davao, the first regional FM station of PBS and FM1 Manila, was launched on August 1, 2018. It is being led by station manager Hariett Saniel (Joe Fisher); Maurice Abella, marketing manager and former Mix FM and Oomph Radio station manager, Joey Sy-Domingo. Republika (band)
Republika was a Polish rock band which began in 1978 in Toruń, Poland. Originally, the band was founded and fronted by Jann Castor under the name Res Publica. (See the links and notes below). The name took its origin from "Rzecz Pospolita" (Res Publica), but under the communist regime at the time the name was censored and not allowed. The band name was invented by Kris Caputa (Polish) currently residing in Victoria BC, Canada, who for the last thirty years worked in various fields of applied science, including astronomical instrumentation and numerical electrodynamics. One of the most notable member was the brother of Jann Castor, Zbigniew Ruciński, who was a guitar virtuoso - and it was him, who brought Grzegorz Ciechowski into the whole picture. ''Republika'' is a weekly newspaper from North Macedonia. Publishing began in 2012. In 2017, the print edition was shut down due to financial problems, but the publication has continued online. The magazine is reported to be supportive of former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski of the VMRO-DPMNE party and to be owned by a company linked to Peter Schatz, a Hungarian media tycoon closely allied with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, similar to TV station Alfa TV. The Republic Movement () is an Extremism, extremist Far-right politics, far-right List of political parties in Slovakia, political party in Slovakia led by Milan Uhrík. The party is often regarded as Neo-fascism, neo-fascist despite some political experts contesting this description.
