Repetitor ( sr-cyr, Репетитор; trans. '' Repeater'') is a Serbian alternative rock band from Belgrade. The band was formed in 2005 by guitarist and vocalist Boris Vlastelica and drummer Milena Milutinović, who were soon joined by bass guitarist and vocalist Ana-Marija Cupin. The band's early performances gained them public attention, and their debut album, ''Sve što vidim je prvi put'', was met with positive reactions by both the audience and the critics, making them one of the most prominent bands of the so-called '' New Serbian Scene''. History 2000s The band was formed in Belgrade on Autumn of 2005 by Milena Milutinović (drums) and Boris Vlastelica (guitar, vocals), who had been playing together as a duo for a while, joined by Ana-Marija Cupin (bass, vocals). Serbian rock is the rock music scene of Serbia. During the 1960s, 1970s and the 1980s, while Serbia was a constituent republic of Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Serbian rock scene was a part of the SFR Yugoslav rock scene. Jelen Pivo Live was a musical event held in Belgrade, Serbia from 2006 to 2012 in order to promote the Apatin Brewery brand Jelen pivo. The first Jelen Pivo Live was organized as a festival featuring only Serbian rock acts, but the following year beside Serbian bands, foreign acts were also included in the festival lineup. Foreign acts that performed on the festival include Ian Brown, Happy Mondays, Gary Moore, Dinosaur Jr., The Stooges, The Lemonheads, The Fall, Heavy Trash, Echo & the Bunnymen and The Rakes. Neno Belan
Nenad "Neno" Belan (born 2 February 1962) is a Croatian rock musician known as the frontman of Đavoli, as well as for his solo work. Biography Early career Neno Belan started his career as a teenager in the band Losos, Kavijar i Marsovi Bizoni (''Salmon, Caviar and Bisons from Mars''). In 1980 he became a member of the band Narodno Blago (''National Treasure'') which performed rhythm and blues and occasionally performed as the supporting band for Split punk rock musician Fon Biškić, with whom they performed covers of The Rolling Stones, Ramones and The Clash songs. Veliki Prezir ( sr-cyr, Велики Презир; trans. ''The Great Contempt'') is a Serbian alternative rock band from Vrbas. History 1990s Veliki Prezir was formed on June 1994 by a former Holidays member Vladimir Kolarić "Kole" (vocals, guitar), Slavko Kontra (guitar), Predrag Ilčešin (bass guitar) and Dušan Kuzmanović (drums), choosing the band name by the Jean-Luc Godard film ''Le Mépris''. Soon afterward, they entered the studio and recorded a demo featuring the song "Samo tebe znam" ("You Are The Only One I Know"), at the Novi Sad Do-Re-Mi studio, and during the spring of the following year, a promotional video was recorded for the track, making it an immediate hit on television and radio stations. Partibrejkers ( Serbian Cyrillic: Партибрејкерс, transliteration for: ''Partybreakers'') is a Serbian rock band from Belgrade, as well as one of the most acclaimed acts of the Yugoslav rock scene.
